It's played on the same size field with half the players, so more like Denver than Seattle. Speed, size and fitness are at a premium. If the lack of LMP1's and RLM at Daytona is getting to you, check it out.

This was such a brilliant move. Take a guy who is fast as lightning, give him the ball and say, "Run! We'll teach you the rules later. Oh, and don't spike the ball in the end zone."

I'm a great fan of Rugby Union (never cared for Rugby League), but I could just never get interested in Sevens. Not sure exactly why.

Seriously. He's not just a great weapon for his physical ability but for the effect he has on both the morale of his own team and of the opposing team. And he's a tool to get the average Joe interested in rugby. I can't even imagine how potent a weapon he could be by 2016 when he's fully familiar with the game.

I live in a small town in Kansas and we were lucky to get 7 or 8 for our first tournaments. Needless to say 15's was out of the question. I can see why some wouldn't like it but it's really the only version I've known.
